Contacts

Lead form

Collect new contacts from a shareable public link

The lead form is a public page you can share anywhere: whoever fills it in automatically becomes a contact in your yourang.ai address book, with nothing to retype by hand. It is the simplest way to collect leads from a social post, a QR code printed in your venue or an email signature.

Where to find it

The form is configured under «CRM › Leads», the section that gathers every channel bringing new contacts in. Today it holds the lead form; more channels will join it over time.

  1. 1

    Open CRM › Leads

Pick «Leads» in the sidebar, then the «Lead form» card.

  2. 2

    Customise and enable

Choose the fields, the title and the thank-you message, then switch the form on from the «Sharing» tab.

  3. 3

    Share the link

Copy the public link with the «Copy link» button and use it wherever you need it: social bios, QR codes, email, WhatsApp.

The form fields

Some fields are always present because they map to the contact record and the consent log.

  • First and last name. First name is required, last name is optional.
  • Phone and email. Phone is required: it is the key that lets later calls be matched to this contact.
  • Message. A free-text field where the visitor can describe what they need.
  • Privacy consent. Required and not removable: it records consent to data processing together with the date and time.

On top of these you can add custom fields (text, number, date, single or multiple choice) to collect whatever matters to your business. Creating custom fields is available from the plans that include full contact management.

Where the collected contacts go

Every submission creates a contact in your address book. If you pick a target list, new contacts are added to that list as well — handy for kicking off a call campaign or a dedicated follow-up right away.

Link your privacy policy

The form can carry a link to your privacy policy, shown next to the consent checkbox. Providing it is good practice and, in many cases, a legal requirement.

Regenerating the link kills the old one

The regenerate button mints a new public address and invalidates the previous one immediately. Every link already shared, printed or embedded in a QR code stops working — use it only if the old link ended up in the wrong hands.
